Loft Conversion Process

Assessment

We visit you at your property.
We will assess your loft space to give you an idea of the possibilities.
Assess whether there are any planning restrictions.
We can then discuss your aesthetic requirements.
And finally your budget.
We can then give you an outline of what is possible.

Architectural drawings

We can do one of 2 things:

Draw up architectural drawings and submit them for the appropriate planning approval.
Or you may already have an architectural drawing for us to work to.

Upon agreement

We can then schedule a start date.
Schedule a pre-start meeting to talk you through the construction process.

Begin the loft conversion project

Once the project has beun we can schedule frequent site meetings for you to monitor progress.

We will take care of all skip licences, scaffolding and liaise with Building Control Officers from the Local Authority on your behalf.

During the loft conversion process

Our aim is tomake the process as unobtrusive as possible.
Most of the conversion can be carried out through the roof.

Finishing the loft conversion

Just before the project is complete we will meet to agree on a snagging list. This is where you inspect the loft to make sure you are satisfied with the work and point out anything you would like addressed.
The loft is then cleaned and ready for use.

Most loft conversions take 6 to 8 weeks to convert.
